Catherine's Wheel Pattern

I found this pattern stitch from the book
"The Ultimate Sourcebook of Knitting and Crochet stitches"
Readers Digest. page 207
The pattern is a multiple 10 sts plus 7.
My starting chain for the afghan was 157 using a 'G' hook.

To finish I put two rows of single crochet around the entire afghan.
3 sc in each corner. Then I put a basic shell of 6dc, skip 2, sc 1, skip 2, 6dc around and fastened off. In the corners I put 8dc so that it would lay flat.

The Brazilian

I'm calling this the Brazilian because it reminds me
of the colors from that country. I started it in July
and finished it today...I've been busy with learning
how to knit socks.

It was very easy to do...I bought a bunch of the bright Red heart

yarn, made a chain of about 157 and single crocheted the

entire blanket. Changed colors when I felt like it.

Plastic bag Purse

I finished this purse today. It's made from all
kinds of plastic bags. The bright colors in the
stripe are from a Disney World bag...the top
handle is made from red plastic twine, the next
green stripe is from a Christmas Target bag, the
rest of the bag is from grocery bags.

Large Pineapple Doily

I made this from a doily pattern found on Annie Attic. I used a K hook and it's about 4 to 5 feet in diameter..
It would look great on a small table or the back of an
easy chair........

Knitted Socks

If any of you have wondered where I was...I've been busy learning how to knit socks...These are my first pair of knitted socks......

These I made for my husband....
